What to do with your Keyword filled articles

1) You could use a program like Jason Potash's EzineAnnouncer to publish your articles to its built-in database of ezines which indicate they accept submissions. This tool could be very useful to you. You can find it over at http://www.ezineannouncer.com/ (or if you prefer to use my affiliate link http://wetrack.it/eza/af.cgi?3940)

2) You could use a service that you pay and let them distribute your article (such as www.articlesthatsell.com - this is not an endorsement as I haven't used their services)

3) You could visit article submission sites and manually submit your articles. (a few places you might want to start are:- http://www.ezinearticles.com, http://www.ideamarketers.com, http://chinese-school.netfirms.com/submit-travel-article.html, http://www.travelnotes.org/Travel/previous.htm, http://www.davestravelcorner.com - and other article directories - remember not just to look for travel directories since some more generic directories still include a travel section)

4) Start a Blog - This will have the added effect of archiving your articles and creating another place for people to find them, while also providing more links back to your website to help its visibility in the search engines (submitting your article to article directories also helps in this way)

Ok, this is where I'm going to wonder a litte bit outside of the box - Put your articles into an autoresponder. Setup a Blog with a relevant name (Use Blogger.com if you're new to this as it's really easy to get going with,and free). Set the blog to allow 'post by email' (PBE). Enter the PBE email address into your autoresponder. You'll now get your new blog having a new post made each day containing one of your articles (including your sig box and link to your site). (make sure your blog has the 'ping weblogs.com?' box ticked.

To add to the power of this tactic it's a good idea to either goto somewhere like www.pingomatic.com and announce your blog to several Blog directories, or to use a service or script to achieve a similar thing. (This works well for getting new pages on your websites indexed quickly too - just by linking to them in your blog, the search engine 'bots' will be around very soon)

This is easy to do and I'll happily help you out if you get stuck trying to implement it.

5) Having your articles in an autoresponder also means that you could offer them to other website owners and the work of delivering them is done for you.

Remember that if you have related products or services, the sig file is a great place for those, and with your autoresponder loaded up, you could even test which sig files work best and on what days etc.. Testing is important and this sort of information is great to track.

6) If your articles can be creatively merged to form a travel report (free to help increase traffic), or ebook (free/paid) you could even take your information to other places using methods that suit the new repurposed product.

How to get your large website indexed quickly

Hi again,

This question was asked and I thought you might find the answer useful.

"How do I get a website of 5,000 pages indexed quickly?"

My answer:-

No-one can guarantee that your site will be indexed in 24 hours since the only person with ultimate control is Google.

However, the key to getting a new site fully indexed is deep linking.

If you were to just leave the site and get links to the index page, you could end up waiting 9 months to get it all in.

Have you created a site map(s).

Depending on your site, it may pay you to create several site maps for different parts of your site.

The basic principle is this:

The Search Engine Bots will investigate pages that they find links to from pages that they're already visiting (you know this since you mentioned blog and ping).
When they do this, the work on a portion of the pages they've found about about at a time, so the more pages and the deeper the links to those pages - the longer it will take and the more times the bot will need to come back to get more.

So, the most effective thing you can do is: Create several site maps which cover lots of pages that have fairly shallow linking the get to them all (normally 2 levels max).

So rather than having 1 huge site map that lists every page. Create 5 site maps of 1000 links, or even more.

Then - Get links to these separate site maps aswell as your main index page. From as many different, high quality, high traffic sources as you can.

Blogs, RSS, Forums, Directories are all good examples of these.

If you get desparate you can buy links from high PR sites, but there's no need.

Any of the large, popular forums probably get visited by the bots every day (my own site does).

Jason Bradley has a product called IndexTracker that you can use to track indexed pages across all of your websites. I use it a lot.

Get into Yahoo for Free

You probably know that Yahoo normally charge $299 to assess your website for inclusion into their directory.

If you're struggling to get new websites found by the Yahoo Search Engine, here's a little tip you might like.

Set up a Blog with whichever service you prefer (I like Blogger.com)Go over to Yahoo.com and setup a 'MyYahoo' account. It's free.

Then on your MyYahoo homepage and goto the section that says 'choose content' and then tick the box that says RSS Headlines (BETA).

Add your feed url(s) to this, so that they are shown on your MyYahoo page.

Yahoo will be around with 48 hours.

Finding those ellusive keywords that have high demand and little supply has always been a challenge and is likely to get more and more competitive as each market becomes more saturated.
